2026 Fair Queen Contestants
Meet the young ladies vying for the title of 2026 Miss Shippensburg Community Fair!
Rowan Burns
Rowan Burns
Rowan Burns is the 17-year-old daughter of Holly Burns of Shippensburg. She will be a senior this fall at Shippensburg Area Senior High School, where she is actively involved in a variety of academic, athletic, artistic, and service-oriented activities.
At school, Rowan participates in the Photography Club, Coffee House, and assists with the Lifetime Skills program. She also serves as Vice President of the Art Honor Society, helping to promote creativity and artistic expression among her peers. Athletically, Rowan has been a member of the varsity cheerleading team for the past three years and competes in track and field as a long jumper and triple jumper.
One of Rowan's most rewarding experiences has been participating in bocce alongside Special Olympics athletes. During her first season, she formed meaningful friendships and had the opportunity to compete at the state level. Rowan also enjoys volunteering within her school and community, including face painting at local events and volunteering with The Best Day Ever.
In her free time, Rowan enjoys writing poetry, creating nail art, caring for her pets and plants, singing, and expressing her creativity through drawing and painting.
Rowan is proud to represent Durff-Kuhn VFW Post & Auxiliary 6168 in the 2026 Shippensburg Community Fair Queen Contest.
Bailey Eby
Bailey Eby
Bailey Eby is the 18-year-old daughter of Tiffanie Eby of Shippensburg and the older sister of Myla and Drake Eby. A member of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School Class of 2026, Bailey is continuing her education through online college courses while also working to support a hospital in Carlisle.
Throughout high school, Bailey has maintained High Honor Roll status and has been actively involved in Math Honor Society, National Honor Society, and tutoring programs. She is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), which she began learning in grade school and later had the opportunity to teach during middle school.
Bailey enjoys spending time with her family, exploring small beaches and islands, and playing the piano with her mother. Having grown up on a large farm, she also enjoys returning home during the summer to help with work in the barn.
Following graduation, Bailey plans to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Biology or Physics. She is honored to represent American Legion Auxiliary Unit 223 in the 2026 Shippensburg Community Fair Queen Contest.
Kaitlyn Garvin
Kaitlyn Garvin
Kaitlyn Garvin is the 16-year-old daughter of Greg and Amy Garvin of Newburg and the younger sister of Thomas and Noah Garvin. She is an incoming junior at Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
Kaitlyn has been a member of the Cumberland County 4-H Farm Stock Club for the past four years. Through her involvement in 4-H, she has exhibited feeder calves, pigs, and meat goats at the Shippensburg Community Fair, developing valuable skills in responsibility, leadership, and agriculture.
Academically, Kaitlyn is enrolled in both the ShipStart and PennWest dual enrollment programs, allowing her to earn college credits while completing high school. Following graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education.
Kaitlyn is actively involved in serving her community through Bridge of Grace Fellowship, where she volunteers in the children's ministry and helps organize the church's annual Christmas meal basket program for local families in need. She also enjoys participating in Operation Christmas Child by helping pack gift boxes for children around the world.
In addition to her academic and volunteer commitments, Kaitlyn is a member of the Shippensburg Greyhounds Girls Varsity Soccer Team. Her hobbies include reading, completing puzzles, watching college sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Sofia Kyle
Sofia Kyle
Sofia Kyle is the 16-year-old daughter of Sean and Erika Kyle of Shippensburg and the sister of Alyvia, Isabella, Liam, and Evan Kyle. She is entering her junior year at Shippensburg Area Senior High School.
Academically, Sofia is enrolled in the Ship Start program, allowing her to take college courses while continuing her Advanced Placement studies. She is actively involved in numerous school activities and organizations, including Student Council, the Math Honor Society, English Honor Society, Drama Club, Mini-THON, and the Student Athletic Trainer program.
Sofia is also a dedicated member of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School Marching Band, where she will serve as Drum Major this year. Through her leadership and involvement, she has become an active and engaged member of the school community.
Outside of school, Sofia works as a babysitter and enjoys spending time with children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, singing, and making memories with family and friends.
Following high school, Sofia plans to attend college to study pre-medicine with the goal of becoming a pediatric oncologist. She hopes to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families facing cancer.
Sofia is honored to represent Memorial Lutheran Church in the 2026 Shippensburg Community Fair Queen Contest. She is grateful for their constant support, encouragement, and guidance and appreciates the opportunity to represent both her sponsor and her community.
Olivia Snyder
Olivia Snyder
Olivia Snyder is the 19-year-old daughter of Daniel and Tammy Snyder of Chambersburg. A 2025 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Olivia had the honor of serving as the Chambersburg FFA President during her senior year.
Following graduation, Olivia began pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Extension Education as a member of the Penn State University Class of 2029. During her first year of college, she earned a place on the Spring 2026 Dean's List in recognition of her academic achievements.
Olivia plans to use her education to become a high school agriculture teacher while also serving as an FFA advisor, helping future generations develop leadership skills and a passion for agriculture.
Outside the classroom, Olivia plays an active role in her family's small beef cattle operation, where she has gained valuable agricultural experience and a strong appreciation for the industry's traditions and opportunities.
Olivia is proud to represent Backroads Greenhouse in the 2026 Shippensburg Community Fair Queen Contest and is grateful for their support. She looks forward to celebrating the agricultural heritage and community spirit that make the Shippensburg Community Fair a treasured tradition.
Annsley Strite
Annsley Strite
Annsley Strite is the 16-year-old daughter of Chad and Hope Strite of Shippensburg. She is the oldest sibling to Braxton and Whitley.
Annsley attends Shalom Christian Academy and will be a senior this upcoming school year. She is also enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Franklin County Career and Technology Center, where she served as a teacher in the Little Apprentices Preschool program this past fall. In addition, Annsley is taking classes through Shippensburg University to earn her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
Annsley attends Bethel Assembly of God in Chambersburg, where she is actively involved in the youth ministry. She participates on the Youth Worship Team and serves as both a Pre-K teacher and nursery volunteer.
A dedicated athlete, Annsley recently began her 12th season as an all-star cheerleader with PA Starz, a sport that has been an important part of her life for many years. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and reading.
Following graduation, Annsley plans to attend college and pursue a degree in Elementary Education with the goal of becoming a teacher.

Taylor Timmons
Taylor Timmons
Taylor Timmons is the daughter of Michael and Darlene Timmons of Orrstown. She will be entering her senior year at Chambersburg Career Magnet School and Franklin County Career and Technology Center, where she is enrolled in the Cosmetology program.
Taylor is a member of the National Honor Society and is committed to serving her community through volunteerism and leadership. She is employed at Henry's Pharmacy, where she enjoys building meaningful relationships with members of the Shippensburg community and providing exceptional customer service.
Agriculture has been an important part of Taylor's life from a young age. Whether helping on her family's farm by throwing hay bales or assisting with feeding calves at her grandfather James Witter's farm, these experiences have instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for agriculture and rural life.
Taylor has played softball since the age of nine. Through her years in the sport, she has developed valuable leadership skills and learned the importance of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance both on and off the field.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys playing softball, driving tractors, and spending time with family and friends. Following graduation, she plans to enter the workforce as a full-time cosmetologist.

Lydia Tolentino
Lydia Tolentino
Lydia Tolentino is the 17-year-old daughter of Tiffany and Jose Jacinto and Carlos and Isa Tolentino of Shippensburg. She is the proud older sister of Eric, Brandon, Sofia, Oliver, and Hannah.
This fall, Lydia will begin her senior year at Shippensburg Area Senior High School, where she has consistently achieved Honor Roll status throughout her academic career. Through the Ship Start Program, she will also begin taking classes at Shippensburg University while pursuing her goal of earning a degree in Secondary Special Education.
Since the age of four, Lydia has had a passion for cheerleading. Over the years, the sport has taught her the importance of dedication, teamwork, and leadership. Today, she proudly serves as a Varsity Cheerleader at Shippensburg Area Senior High School and competes with Hanover Elite's Worlds Team, FLEX. Lydia enjoys sharing her love for the sport with younger athletes through youth camps and by volunteering with the Shippensburg Greyhound Youth Football Association, where she helps coach the Peewee cheer team.
Lydia has a heart for serving others, especially children. Whether mentoring young athletes, supporting her siblings at their activities, or spending time with family and friends, she enjoys encouraging those around her and helping others feel valued. Her passion for working with and supporting young people inspired her future career goal of becoming a Secondary Special Education teacher.
In addition to her academic and athletic pursuits, Lydia enjoys spending time with family and friends, working at her family's restaurant, El Mariachi, and caring for her four rabbits. Lydia is honored to represent Durff-Kuhn VFW Post & Auxiliary 6168 in the 2026 Shippensburg Community Fair Queen Contest.
