Rory Jones, 2025 Fair Queen
Meet the 2025 Fair Queen
Miss Rory Jones was crowned the 2025 Miss Shippensburg Fair Queen at the Fair's annual Queen Contest on Monday, July 21, 2025.
Rory is the daughter of Timothy and Melissa Jones of Shippensburg and the younger sister of Kyla Jones. Rory is entering her senior year at Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She is participating in the Ship Start program where she is taking college classes. Rory is a gymnastics class coach at Wilson Gymnastics where she loves watching kids grow in their gymnastics skills as well as building relationships with the kids. She also works at a privately-owned equestrian barn. Rory loves working with the horses and playing with all the farm animals. Rory is also involved in the Shippensburg varsity cheerleading team, student athletic training, and is an active member of the mini-thon club. She loves being a part of school activities and helping in the community. Some of Rory's hobbies include horseback riding, tumbling, spending time with family and friends, and being outside. Rory plans to attend college for livestock and equine science. Her sponsor is the Shippensburg Area Athletic Association.
Rory has a busy but exciting year ahead of her as Fair Queen, and is excited to participate in many parades and community events, as well as in the 2026 Pennsylvania State Fair Queen Competition in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Elleri McKenrick, 2025 Fair Sweetheart
2025 Fair Sweetheart
Miss Elleri McKenrick serves as the 2025 Shippensburg Fair Sweetheart and alternate to the 2025 Fair Queen.
Elleri is the 17-year-old daughter of Tony and Amy McKenrick of Chambersburg. Elleri is an incoming Chambersburg Area Senior High School senior who has many interests. She loves riding her horse, and has been taking horseback riding lessons for a little over ten years now. She competed in horse shows for several years. She also enjoys gardening, kayaking, and songwriting when she finds some free time, and has even released a song on Spotify. Elleri is the president of the CASHS Eco Warriors, president of the CASHS Special Olympics planning committee, a leader in the CASHS Glee Club, and is a proud member of the CASHS Drama Club, National Honors Society, and the International Baccalaureate Program. Elleri hopes to pursue the best of both worlds by studying ecology in college while still taking music classes, so she can fulfill both of her dreams by being a scientist while still producing music. Elleri enjoys playing both piano and ukulele, and is very passionate about the conservation of native plants. Elleri is so excited to see what the next year brings! She is proud to be sponsored by her employer, Totem Pole Playhouse, Fayetteville.
Along with the Fair Queen and rest of the royalty court, Elleri represents the Fair and town of Shippensburg in many events throughout the year including parades, children’s events, and other community activities!
