Whether headlining shows in the Pittsburgh tri-state area or opening for national acts such as Lady Antebellum, Brett Eldredge and more, they are making a name for themselves as both singers and entertainers. From their harmony-driven original songs to their unique interpretations of popular country covers, The Hobbs Sisters have created a sound that is all their own.

Career Highlights

The Hobbs Sisters have had the honor of opening for numerous country national country acts. In August 2016, they were the opening act for Lady Antebellum at The Clearfield County Fair in Clearfield, PA. They have also opened for Brett Eldredge, Diamond Rio, Aaron Tippin, and more. In 2014, they shared the stage with  Jana Kramer, Maddie and Tae, Cassadee Pope and Rae Lynn as part of Y108’s Girls With Guitars Concert. In June 2016, they released their latest EP, Love Hangover and have been promoting their new single, “Boomerang” to country stations in different states.

Growing up in Peters Township, Pennsylvania in Washington County, The Hobbs Sisters, Hannah and Lauren, were always singing. They credit both their grandfather, Pappaw John, and the church choir for getting them into music. It was their grandfather who first exposed them to country music and playing the guitar.

They began performing as a duo in the Pittsburgh area, as well as in Winston Salem, NC, where they graduated from Wake Forest University. Hannah and Lauren have always had a love for harmony, which they frequently incorporate into their music. Whether adding it into cover songs or writing it into their original music, harmony has become the signature sound for the Hobbs Sisters.
