Biography

The Alex Hilton Band is an original country music group originating out of Virginia. The group was formed in 2012, and performs a mix of upbeat country rocking music and soft country ballads.

The group has performed at various college venues such as William & Mary and Radford University, and as toured Nashville, TN playing the Legendary Tootsies.

Lead Guitar: Chad Davis 

Chad Davis has more than 20 years of experience on guitar. He was a member of Juniper Tree for 12 years, and a member of the classic rock cover band Out of Order for more than 10 years. Davis joined Sickleeye, a PA based band for a couple years following his stint with Juniper Tree.

He became a member of Indigo Rise for a short period of time, and loves playing all styles of music but Davis states "country music is my true love". Davis also lays bass for the worship team at lifehouse bethel in Hagerstown, MD

Bass: Ryan Kane

I was born and raised in Chambersburg, Pa. I grew up listening to Tom Petty, Steely Dan, and the Beatles.When I was fourteen years old I started playing the bass guitar in a Christian rock band called “Revelation.” We put out two albums. The second was all original material. hroughout my college years I was busy with several bands but playing alongside my father has always been a joy as he has been a teacher of music to me my entire life.

Drums: Jason Brookens

Jason lives in Chambersburg, PA. He began playing drums in grade school and got his first drum set in high school. He's played in many different projects since then, and has also had the opportunity to do studio work for several different artists. "I just love making music," Jason says.

Vocals & Rhythm: Alex Hilton

He first picked up a guitar in 2005 during his freshman year at Radford University. He began writing songs the next year and has continued to write since. "My dad gave me his old guitar" states Hilton, "The first song I ever learned was happy birthday". 

Hilton says that the first year or two of songwriting really didn't produce much of anything. He states "It was all about learning which sounds and lyrics made you feel something inside".
