The Shippensburg Community Fair’s mission is to educate and inform the public about agricultural products and services as well as provide a venue for family entertainment and community awareness. The success of our event relies on the contributions of sponsors who go out of their way to lend financial support. Every year, the money we raise goes back into making the fair a better event for the community. We would like you to consider supporting the Shippensburg Community Fair by joining hands with us as a sponsor for the event.

The Shippensburg Community Fair is a staple in Franklin and Cumberland counties, an annual event that is known and visited by 45,000-65,000 people. Each year, people of all ages gather at the local fairgrounds during the last week in July with the intentions of showing their prized exhibits, participating in contests, enjoying performing arts, learning about agriculture, and interacting with others from the community. As a sponsor, your organization is sure to receive exposure from media campaigns and all promotions for the event. You will also gain exposure from the audience attending the event. As a company dedicated to supporting the local community, you are an ideal partner for us in this venture.

Please consider a sponsorship of the Shippensburg Community Fair held from July 23-28, 2012. We have several different packages for sponsorship and these are detailed in the packet enclosed with this letter, which allows you to choose how you would like to participate in the event and how you would like to help bring the community we live in together.

With state funding of agricultural fairs on a steady decline, the Shippensburg Community Fair is in need of monetary support from local organizations. This is why we are asking you to please consider becoming a sponsor.
