Jessica Wolford

Jessica Rose Wolford, age 18, is the daughter of Kevin and Rhonda Wolford, Shippensburg, and has one sister, Emily, who is 15 years old.  Jessica is a 2010 graduate of the Shippensburg Area School District, where she was an honor student. While in high school she served as a drum major in the high school marching band, played the alto sax in concert band and jazz band, sang with the Sharps and chorus, and performed in 7 musicals/plays as part of the drama club.  She is a member of Messiah United Methodist Church and an active member of her church’s youth group.  She has received many Outstanding Band awards, been an honor roll student and received various choral awards.  Her hobbies and interests include: being involved in plays and musicals, playing the piano, babysitting and spending time with children, boating and camping at Raystown, and spending time with her family & friends.  Jessica has been involved with the Shippensburg Relay for Life for the past 9 years, and volunteers at Kings Kettle.  In the Fall, Jessica will be attending Shippensburg University majoring in elementary education.  Jessica’s future plans, upon graduation from college, are to teach at an elementary school here in the Shippensburg School District and continue her involvement with the Shippensburg Relay for Life.  Jessica would like to thank her sponsor, Beta Sigma Phi, for this wonderful opportunity.
