2011 Fair Queen Contestants
Jessica John

Jessica John is 17 years old and the daughter of Ralph and Jolene John. She has a younger sister, Cheyenne, who is entering 8th grade. Jessica will be graduating from Shippensburg Area Senior High School in the class of 2012. She is enrolled in the college prep curriculum involving Honors and AP classes to prepare for college. Jessica plans on attending Harrisburg Area Community College to become an x-ray technician after graduation. At Summit Health, Jessica participates in the shadowing program offered at Chambersburg Hospital.

Jessica is involved in many extracurricular activities. She is the Vice President of the Greyhound Partners, a club that visits and assists students at local elementary schools. The club’s purpose is to mentor younger students and help them to become confident in themselves. Jessica also participates in both the Shippensburg Area Senior High School marching and concert bands, the Relay for Life, and Special Olympics. During her free time, she enjoys camping with family, spending time with friends, country line dancing, hunting, and spending time at the horse barn caring for animals.
